Inciting Incidents (Moody Publishers) is part story and part art
Inciting Incidents (Moody Publishers) is part story and part art. The visuals are a great addition to the stories. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
The chapters are individual stories about a climax moment. The author of each story shows how these climaxes strengthened their resolve to be brave in a broken world.
I appreciate that each author makes it clear that there are no fairy tale endings. Life is hard but hope still triumphs. I will be passing my copy along to friends.

Inciting Incidents ¿ by far the most unique thing I¿ve consumed
Inciting Incidents – by far the most unique thing I’ve consumed in a long time – is a small, fierce, powerhouse of a book. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
Topics include battling depression, broken relationships, mental illness, the anxiety carrying wounds from past abuse, and more; each reaches deep down to reveal how each storyteller meets the reality – in a crystallized moment of clarity - that their lives are ultimately written by God, who uses these moments as a catalyst for His greater story.
The stories are raw and compelling; the text, graphics, and art combine to make this book a visual feast. It challenges and confronts, unsettling us as the subject matter niggles curiously close to home…and takes us just to the point of squirming discomfort before igniting and inspiring us to look deep into our own fears and hidden failings, asking where God will take us from there.
This is a stirring, stunning testament to the power of telling the truth, our stories, and the immeasurable power of the grace of God. I highly recommend this book!!!
