The first book “Encounters” was about Mike and his friends being kidnapped by the aliens. How he survived and how he finally returned to Earth after 18 months.

Book 2 “RECKONING” continues the story of what happened on and to the earth after Mike and the aliens arrived. The survival of the main characters in the face of a total breakdown of society.

“Conquest” (I have audio version) picks up where book 2 left off. Beth shot a man and is running scared. Mike wakes up in a hospital in France. FRANCE???? Paul had shot him with a dart. Well you didn’t expect the hero to get killed did you ?
This book details Beth’s journey back to Indian Hill. She had mad man chasing her and she found that children grow up fast in this new world. What she did when she finally got back, well she was in for a big surprise. Full of twists and turns, you will not want to stop reading. Mike is again abouard the alien ship. However, this time he has help for an unexpected source. Mark fully intends to halt the alien invasion and give the Earth another 2 or so years to prepare for the real invasion.

There is a lot more fighting and some good friends are lost. This is a non-stop thrill ride. Just when things look bleak the story takes a left turn. Mark must have a guardian angel on his shoulder. Or maybe, he has some cat in him.

If you can get the audio it is definitely worth it. Read by Sean Runnette and he is excellent. ( though his female voice could be a bit better) I still clung to every word.
