    Very entertaining

Certainly no masterpiece but well worth the time to read. I will be buying the sequel. The science was interesting and believable, though not fully explained. The plot was good and kept me interested. The weakest part was the characters in my opinion. I never really developed any feelings for them, they were all pretty expendible. Sigler is no Stephen King, at least not yet but he's worth reading if you like the genre.

    Weird, In a great way!

Extremely different, fast paced, hard to put down. Mr. Sigler delivers on the bizarre and unsetlling in unexpected ways.

    more from this reviewer

    I respectfully disagree

I must disagree with the glowing reviews. The book was okay, but not the stellar work of art many of these reviews describe. Granted, this is certainly an interesting premise for a thriller. Unfortunately, the author reduced it to a mere gore-fest, losing much of the fear factor in the processes. While I certainly expected some violence and gore, it really went a bit over the top. (Really, how many pages of self mutilation must we endure?) Perhaps the art of a psychological thriller is simply lost on a generation of authors and readers raised on the gore of first-person shooters.
