    Who-Dante-Dun-It...

This novel has three gruesome, sadistic and vengeful murders by page 98, all with medieval and Biblical undertones. It would have been a four or five Star Rating but for the same "serial-killer" plot as the first of this series (which was very good!). Yes, there are too many psycho maniacs in our world who could fit this profile but I expected more after the first novel. The forensics details are excellent, characters well-developed and we do finally learn what happens to "Chris". However, I may await another in this series wherein the murders are not "related" to just one killer's psychosis...

    Ok

I will not be reading anymore of this series as I found it boring and it took me a couple of days to finish it. I really just wanted to find out about Chris. I did and I'm finished reading these.

Second time is NOT a charm!

The first in this series was good enough that I ordered the second. The author used the exact same serial killer plot in the second book with different secondary characters--what a bore!
