    In Spirit

We live in a world that is surrounded by bad news, simply turn on the news or look at the world around you. Bad, bad, and worse is the constant message that filters through.
Fortunately there are sparkles of light that shine in the darkness. Inspiration: Your Ultimate Calling by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer is one such book.
More than a preachy motivational book, Dyer takes you on reflective journey as he not shares gems of wisdom but opens his vulnerabilities. His message of spirit weaves through his works.
Dyer shares how he befriended a butterfly and it followed him and landed on his hand. He felt that this creature represented his friend Jack and it created a bond.
Dyer states his intent of the book is "what I'm offering in this book is the awareness that we can return to a full-time position of inspiration which is the true meaning of our life."
By recognizing the ever powerful spirit within each of us we then able to be inspired to live our dreams. It is said that when the student is ready, the teacher will appear, so why not let teacher Dyer inspire you to live the life you want to lead.

A Year's Woth of Inspirational Quotes

Your Ultimate Calling: 365 Ways to Bring Inspiration into Your Life by Wayne W. Dyer could be a deck of cards or a one-day calendar as easily as a book. The book is in full color with photographs of nature and drawings of flowers and butterflies. Dyer believes that inspiration can be cultivated and that it is an achievable state of being. This book is essentially a distillation of Dyer's other works. He presents 365 basic spiritual principles in one or two sentences. This is not a book you sit down to read rather it is a daily inspirational guide, best suited for meditative/contemplative purposes. Here are three samples from the book: 'Thoughts themselves are an energy and it's vital to realize that you need to work on not holding on to the ones that will weaken you.' 'When you're at peace with your life and in a state of tranquility, you actually send out a vibration of energy that impacts all living creatures, including plants, animals...and even babies!' 'The phrase I expect miracles is more than a New Age slogan, it's how you feel when you live each day in spirit. You leave the world of anxiety, fear, doubt, and impossibility and enter a new, wonderful world where all things are possible.' By the author of the award winning book, Harmonious Environment: Beautify, Detoxify and Energize Your Life, Your Home and Your Planet.

    It's inspiring!

In 'Inspiration : Your Ultimate Calling,' Wayne Dyer focuses on the interior aspects of the self instead of outward manifestations such as trying to achieve certain goals or outcomes. Through the interior journey, we find encouragement and inspiration. Dyer is focused less on ego-based approaches to living, instead he outlines the way to connect with the higher self.

    enlightening

i think those who read books and pass negative comments on what they read do not understand the whole purpose of reading. reading gives you the other alternative. it provides you with an opposite edge and more importantly, it is an act pursued for enlightenment. inspiration and Dr. Dyer does just that. i love it.

    Better than 'intention'

I'm a long time reader of Dr. Dyers books. I was very disappointed in 'The Power Of Intention' - the book AND the PBS Special. It was confusing and tiresome. This book comes close to redeeming Dr. Dyer for me again. I keep '10 Secrets for Success and Inner Peace' on my nightstand as a quick bedtime reminder of how easy life should/could be - if we could just stop complicating it for ourselves.

Worth the money, and time to read it.

I came to this country from sudan three years ago, and when i listened to Inspiration: your ultimate calling on PBs, i was moved and started to forget my own problems especially when i heard of young boys of six years old believing to dug a well in Uganda which he did. i was also touched by the young lady story from Rwanda. I will recommand to each one who thinks that somethings are impossible or kids can not do any, read the book. Inspiratiion: your ultimate calling. No matter how old one is, there is always a voice inside of us telling us what to do. I'm only 20 years old, and considered myself a lost boy from sudan. If ican read this book despites of English being my second langauge, anyone can read this book and benefit from it. sam.
