Readers will enjoy Jill Shalvis¿ fun contemporary romance

Los Angeles accountant Katie Kramer did everything by the book keeping in mind the bottom line until the accident. Feeling fortunate to be alive, Katie vows to live life to the fullest as she understands you have one chance and hiding cubicles is not what one would call living. Katie applies for a job with Wilder Adventures in the Sierra Madre mountain town of Wishful and to her euphoria is hired.

The accident ended Cameron Wilder¿s career as a champion snowboarder. Feeling at a loss as what to next, he has wandered around but has come home to Wishful. He is shocked to find a beautiful woman sleeping in his bed in his cabin. She is shocked to find a man sharing her bed when she awakens the next morning. Each don¿t need caffeine to feel in their gut the INSTANT ATTRACTION between them. As they fall in love, one daredevil stunt at a time, she is unprepared for a relationship beyond the moment and he has doubts that love lasts though his ¿mom¿ Annie and her husband Nick prove otherwise.

The lead couple is a fascinating pairing as neither wants a relationship, but has no choice as the Wilder bunch insures they remain together. The Wilder bunch makes the story line fun with their antics yet key members are drawn with depth and poignancy especially the matriarch and her spouse. Readers will enjoy Jill Shalvis¿ fun contemporary romance as everyone seems to embrace love when they feel the emotion even in others except for Katie and Cameron who want to flee love.

    Outstanding

    ## This book was superb. Jill shalvis is amazing. Her characters are interesting and always have great chemistry. There was humor and adventure and of course hot sex. Can't wait to read the next story in this series. Also, her 'sexy' series is highly recommended!

    Terrific Read

As with most trilogies these books should be read in order because they all follow a thread. This book is the first and tells the story of Katie who leaves "it all" following a horrific accident where she is the only survivor... She takes a temporary job working for Wilder Adventures where she meets up with Cam a professional ski boarder who was also nearly killed in an accident... Love follows but the path to their destiny isn't complete until Book 3... Engaging stories, well written and a spectacular portrayal of the beauty of the Sierra mountains. I loved all three stories of the Wilder brothers and their lives and loves... The writing of Ms. Shalvis makes you feel as if you are there, experiencing the exciting and dangerous lives of these three mountain men as they live and love in the great outdoors. Read and enjoy!!!

Plenty of action, warmth, and smiles!

    Review by C.K. Laurence:
The story follows Cam and Katie's battle against the growing attraction between them. The two face obstacles from every direction as they fight to take back their lives and find passion and love along the way. Of course there is the formula ex-girlfriend to complicate matters and one family crisis after another to keep the plot moving. Did I mention that there is lots of hot sex between the couple?

Instant Attraction had me turning the pages to see if and how the couple would succeed, and I must admit I could not put it down. The only thing that niggled at total enjoyment was Shavis' obsession with green eyes and Cam's amazing body. I found myself wanting to say "Okay, I get it. I get it!" It wasn't so bad that it stopped me from plowing through the novel in only two days, though.

For anyone looking for a romantic read with plenty of action, warmth and some big smiles, I can tell you this-Shavis next novel is a sequel involving Cam's brother Stone, and I have every intention of reading it.

Fantastic... can't wait to start the next book!!!!!!!!

it's been a long time since i found a book that i didn't want to put down. it is a touching romantic novel with just enough humor and leaves the sexual scenes to the imagination. it's 330am and i just finished the book and lent to my sister via our nooks. a great read.

Jill Shalvis' "Instant Attraction" will not disappoint you. I have everyone of her books and hope she keeps them coming.

Wilder Aventures is a company you would like to book for your next vacation,if you love the outdoors. I enjoy how Jill always keeps your attention from who shows up in your bed to what is lurking around in the bushes. "Insant Attratction" was a well-rounded enjoyable romance.

Jill Shalvis continues to grow as a writer

Jill Shalvis has become very talented in delivering a marvelous love story. She uses up-to-date characters with real, up-to-date problems, characters who are willing to go the extra mile to prove that they can, and will survive. Of course lots of sexual tension and chemistry between the main characters does help heal old wounds, and Shalvis delivers.

Her writing style is clean and witty. Her characterizations are well rounded and fully realized. Even the secondary characters come alive for the reader.

This book is a great read for a rainy day, or a day at the beach, or just for fun. A read with unforgetable characters that will make the reader impatient for more.

    Don't Miss This Book!

When I pick up a book by Jill Shalvis I know I'm going on a great adventure. This story was no exception. I LOVED this book. Cam and Katie are wonderful characters you can't help but feel for. I found myself laughing out loud as well as wondering, "What are they thinking?" on several pages. Like Katie I fell in love with the Wilder brothers and their small community. I cannot wait for the next book!

    I Also Recommend:

Instant Attraction is an instant hit!

The other reviews pretty much describe the story, so I'm going to skip that and talk about the book itself. If you love Jill Shalvis' work, then you will definitely love this story. If you are new to her, then I highly recommend this book. If you like love stories about real people in real situations; if you like a bit of humor - people who are able to laugh at themselves and their situations; if you want some sizzle in your reads - then this is the book for you. Jill Shalvis' characters are always well thought out and beautifully written, and Instant Attraction is no exception. Watching these two characters face their demons and win, and fall in love in the process was a total joy. You will fall in love with all of the characters in this book, as Jill Shalvis never neglects them for the principals. Yes, it's a story about Cam and Katie, but it's as much of a story about Stone, Annie, Nick and anyone else who crosses the pages. Each one adds to the story, enriches the telling and keeps you completely involved in what you are reading.

    What a great read!

Jill Shalvis has started another great trilogy of romance with humor mixed in with the drama. I found myself more than once chuckling. She has weaved in well the characters which is her building base for her next two books. I can hardly wait for the two remaining books.

    Great Read!

This is the first Jill Shalvis book that I've read and I was really impressed. Instant Attraction is a quick read that brings its characters to life with witty commentary and realistic relationships. This is the first of three books featuring the Wilder brothers. While this is the youngest son's, Cam's story, readers get a chance to learn about the rest of the clan. As a side story we meet Cam's aunt and her husband who are going through troubles of their own. Their story really adds a lot to book. The best part of the story to me is the heroine Katie. Her character is well written and believable. She brings this story to life in so many ways.

    Hot and Delightful

Instant Attraction By Jill Shalvis is spectacular. Its everything I enjoy from her books and so much more.

Katie Kramer's new motto is Live Life Balls Out is really put to the test when she takes a temporary job at Wilder Adventures. After surviving a terrible car accident Katie feels she has to push herself to the limit. Late one night she is shocked to find Cameron Wilder claiming she is in his bed. This wasn't at all what she was planning when she wanted new things.

Cameron Wilder has his own demons to deal with after a snow boarding accident. He wondered the world trying to get it out of his mind but has finally returned home to figure out what he truly wants. His first night back "goldilocks" is in his bed. Katie is so different from any other woman he has ever known. And her vow has him reevaluating his own world.

Katie and Cameron both work hard at keeping their problems close to their hearts. But soon realize another survivor like themselves will help them to heal. Their attraction is instant and hot enough to melt any snow. Once Katie's temp job is over will they fight to keep each other in their lives.

Jill Shalvis introduces readers to the fascinating Wilder clan in Instant Attraction. Katie and Cameron are complex characters and their chemistry is explosive. Then secondary romance of Annie and Nick is heartfelt and emotional. This is a well rounded novel and should be on everyone's list to buy.

    Instant Attraction by Jill Shalvis

Need a break from historical or paranormal romance? Like brooding, sexy heroes, humor, and spicy sex? Try "Instant Attraction" by Jill Shalvis.

Katie is the sole survivor of a horrible bridge collapse. Thirty people died, she alone survived. After her recovery, she's determined to live life 'full out'. So she gassed up her car and drove north. Now she's taken a temporary job at Wilder Adventures and Expeditions; and it comes with housing. The mountains are very different from LA and oh so beautiful and the nightmares are slowing down too! But being awakened in the middle of the night by a gorgeous stranger may just be a bit too dangerous for her...of course, he is really hot!

Cameron was a world-famous extreme snow-boarder...until the accident that nearly took his life. After a year of trying to find something, anything to 'feel' for, he returns home to find a sexy woman sleeping in his bed! Suddenly Cameron is feeling lots of things...none of them comfortable and most assuredly dangerous to his state of mind.

Hot, humorous, and just flat-out fun to read. When Jill Shalvis' 'hits' with me, it's a homerun and this one is definitely a hit for me. Of course, now I'll have to buy the upcoming stories about the other two Wilder brothers, the first of which is scheduled to release in June 2009.
