Recommended for Football Fans
This book is recommended reading for football fans. All fans, not just Packer fans. Excellent 'diary' of the 1968-69 season by offensive guard Jerry Kramer of Lombardi's fabled Packer teams. The book is climaxed by the infamous Ice Bowl and Super Bowl I. It offers insight into Lombardi, the man and the coach, the locker room, psychology, work ethic, and details of the life of a professional football player. I love this book and have read it many times over the years, the first time at 12. Each reading is just as good as the last. Of course, I'm a lifelong Packer fan, so am obviously biased in this matter. Still, I recommend this book to anyone, especially the football fan interested in the game's history. Enjoy and GO PACK GO!

I loved this book becuase it goes inside the N.F.L and gives you the behind the story information. it takes you to the bone crushing,muschles aching, make a man into a baby practices of the Green Bay Packers in the 1960's with vince lombardi.
