    Concise, well-researched book

This is a very good book on how to start your own online business. It is divided into five main sections: Part 1 outlines the opportunity of the Internet and how one can add value by pursuing products/services that address one of three characteristics. Part 2 discusses a useful framework for developing a business model. Part 3 provides step-by-step guidance on how to build an online business. Part 4 gives guidance on Marketing. Part 5 discusses legal and administrative issues. The author does a good job teaching a subject that could have taken much more time and expense to research on your own.

The fast-track from idea to income!

If like me, your head is swimming with potentially lucrative e-business ideas 'though it takes only one', yet you are unsure where to begin, this book is priceless. It is both thought-provoking and instructive: In under 300 pages Scott Fox has helped me transform my vague e-business idea into a very clear, workable plan 'now well under way'. No fluff...the content is strong throughout the book: Practical, usable, nuts & bolts advice 'as opposed to the common 'pie-in-the-sky' vagaries'. One would be hard-pressed to get more bang-for-their-buck than is offered here. Do yourself a favor, grab a copy, bypass the learning curve, and get on the fast-track to a successful e-business.

    Very introductory

If you have a blog you are way beyond this book. If you have been somehow on a desert island and wonder about this internet thing, you might get something out of this book.

    Highly Recommend

If you are someone who is looking for information on how to start a home based business on the internet then I highly recommend this book. I have many pages tagged so that I can go back and review the information. Easy to read and understand. With practical step by step guidelines on how to set up and start your business. I felt it was giving more advice on opening a store or selling wares on the internet, not really affiliate marketing. If you already know your niche this is a good book to review. I got mine from the library, and found the information so valuable that I am purchasing a used copy.

Internet Riches actually lays a foundation to starting an internet business in which anyone of any background could follow. Scott Fox gives real life examples of average people who have created very successful and lucrative internet businesses. This book has great examples and resources throughout the covers, including where to go to drive traffic to your website. I personally used this book as my guide for starting my internet business. Finally I found a book that gives real-life examples and sources to help anyone have a successful and lucrative internet business. Thanks Scott! C.L. Strickland, Pawleys Island,SC.

    E-business Demystified

I'm not finished reading Internet Riches but so far every chapter has been very informative and applicable. The profile on sittercity.com showcased how something seemingly as mundane as a 'babysitting network' could serve a real need and develop into a huge business opportunity. E-biz has been demystified by Scott. Jim S., Riley, IN

    Surprisingly practical useful startup advice

This book is a lot more useful and practical than the title implies. I found it full of useful strategies and real-world examples that I could follow to help build my own online business. The author's advice is nicely balanced with interviews with other start-up founders who have done well. Highly recommended if you are curious about starting a web business.
