Borneo comes alive
'Into the Heart of Borneo' is a rare treat of a book which combines the thrill of adventure into a then unknown and untouched area of the world and the stylings of a witty Englishman and his poet laureate friend. Redmond O'Hanlon and James Fenton travel together with the help of local Iban men to discover whether or not the conspicuous highland rhinecerous is still in existence. This book is highly recommended not only for its telling of a great (and true) adventure story but for the way in which O'Hanlon paints the picture of the relationships formed between two otherwise unconnected groups of people.
