Outstanding crime story
This is an excellent story. This is not a mystery, but an inquiry into the limits a man will cross to protect his family. It is also, it seems to me as a layman, a pretty good examination of the mechanics of going crazy. Events seem to be realistic, keeping in mind that this is a novel. I recommend this to those who like a suspense novel that is well written and concerned about more than the direct story.

A real page-turner!
I read this book about two years ago and haven't stopped thinking about it. Magnificent story-telling. I'll read anything by Peter Blauner now - A Perfect Crime was equally mesmerizing.
