Good story, though it loses a star because the Nook version is very
poorly edited (typos everywhere!) and that really annoys me because it
shows that they didn't put the same care into the electronic version as
they did into the final print version, especially when the errors are
the type that any basic word processing software would catch.

    good reading

I really enjoyed reading this book. It is one of the first books I have read that I felt good after reading it. I'm looking forward to reading more of Heather Blake's books.

This book was a pure delight. The characters are very likeable without being cloying, the setting is charming, and the storyline very well written. Add a tantalizing mystery and you have a book that is very hard to put down. I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys a bit of paranormal and dry humor with their cozy mystery.

If you enjoy paranormal mysteries, you will enjoy this book. I kind of liked how each witch as a specialty. As the title implies, the protagonist is a witch whose ability is to grant wishes (there are several caveats to the wishes). I enjoyed this book and think that fans of this genre will like it as well.

    Engaging debut!

Once you get all the 'Crafters' straight in this tourist mecca called Enchanted Village, where witches live and work in plain sight, the story just sails along. Darcy and Harper Merriweather have just arrived in this Salem environ, new to the news that they are witches, living (and learning) under the watchful eye of their Aunt Ve. When Aunt' Ve's latest beau is accused of a local murder, the snooping begins. Blake has created an interesting world of witches, with each skill based solely on ancestry. All of the characters are very engaging and the plot moved smoothly to a good conclusion. This was a great introduction to a new series. I will definitely seek out the next title, due out this summer.

    Fun, good read

Very enjoyable book that held my attentione from start-to-finish. Interesting take on magic, eclectic and likeable characters, and the ending wasn't predictable. Nothing fancy, but a definitely good, relaxing read.
