Izzy has always been a good girl, A student, pretty, and OK with boys. But when the cutest guy in school asks her to go with him to a party. Her parents are OK with it and she has a blast. Up until she has to leave. Her date has been drinking and is a little out-of-it. Everyone offers her a ride but her date takes her home anyway. Well let's just say he was moe drunk than everyone thought. He rams them into a tree causing Izzy's leg to gey infected. The docter tells her, her leg has to go. Yah, that's right, Izzy's leg is amputated. The rest of the book is about her recovery and a life lesson she will never forget.

The first book I think of, instantly, when someone asks me what my least favorite book is? Two points for you if you guessed Izzy, Willy-Nilly. I don't mean to be rude (Obviously some people liked it) but honestly, if you haven't read this book and are contemplating doing so, don't. Because chances are you will not like it, and there are so many other great books out there. Please look for them.

    Izzy, Izzy was a Fizzy

Everyone has different views when it comes to books, and you can't always read a book you love, right? Well, I thought Izzy, Willy-Nilly was an okay book. I enjoyed the characters and the different qualities each one portrayed. However, I feel that Voight could have ended the book better. She shouldn't have left the reader hanging with: 'What's going to happen between Izzy and her old friends?' or 'Will Izzy ever meet a boy who will like her?' or 'Did Rosamunde ever cut her hair??' I also feel that much of the book was going in circles or absolutely redundant. Izzy would complain about her new life and become depressed and not talk about it. It's like, 'C'mon, just open up!' It also felt like the book was dragging on and there was no plot or climax. But, you know, everyone has their own opinion. I'm just telling you one...

    Not Great

This book was okay but not as good as I expected. I thought that it was written very well and I give credit to the author, but the story itself wasn't very good. Izzy was a strong character that accomplished many things while coping with dissapointments and I really admire her for it.
