I take my son to Barnes and Noble quite often. Last year when he was about 1 year old, we got Jamberry. He has loved it since we bought it. Now at 2 1/2, he "reads" (it's memorized by both of us) it himself. He loves it. We read it at least 5 times a day. Recently he saw that my Mom had an old copy form about 15 years ago that belonged to my sister. It was a paper copy and bigger than his board book. So for a few days he kept telling me he wanted "a BIG Jamberry". My mom bought him one yesterday and he has not put it down since she gave it to him. He even wanted to sleep with it! Get the book (or 2) it's worth the $8 you spend on it.

My teenager still remembers it with love
This book goes into every baby boy gift package we give. I remember we went through three copies of our own. And if that isn't sufficient enough praise I can tell you that my jam making confiture loving son, now a teenager, insisted I buy one when we passed a copy at a local elementary school street fair a little while ago.

"Just to have" he said.
So I plunked down five bucks for a well loved copy. And we went home and read it again. Unlike the first couple of years I only had to read it once through. My son indulged me next and read it aloud to me. -

Daughter still loves it
One berry two berry pick me a blueberry....I honestly think I can recite the whole book from memory due to the number of times I have read it to my Daughter. I love the pictures in the book. In each one you can see evidence of the last picture and the upcoming picture. My daughter loves finding things in the pictures - such as waffles as lily pads and marshmellows a cattails. My Daughter also likes the rhyming patterns of the book. It is always a favorite bedtime book at our house. I highly recomend it for anyone that has a 0-3 year old in the house.

Great Book
This is the first book I recieved for my daughter at the baby shower and it is the first book I have ever read to her, and she loves it! Its very colorful and doesn't have a lot of reading to do so she doesn't get bored while I sit and read it to her before I can turn the page

Fun Rhyming Book
"Jamberry" is a well-illustrated and short hard-board book that definitely was one of my favorite night time stories to read to the kids when they were young (age 3 to 6). "Jamberry" combines adventurous, whimsical drawings with a "story" full of rhythm, rhymes, and alliteration. The result is something fun to look at and to read out loud with gusto.....I liked it well enough to have bought several copies as little presents to friends and family.

A Delightful Read
This is one of the favorite repeat reads with my children. We love it so much that we now give it to gifts to all the new babies we know. It is a sweet, innocent, silly, delightful read.

Jamberry is So Very Berry!
This one is simply fun, fun, fun! Phonemic Awareness, the awareness of sounds in words, is critical prior to learning how to read. This book plays with words and sounds and is lively and engaging. Probably not a bedtime book, more of an on-the-lap, bouncing reading experience. Your child will love it!

Jamberry for the youngest readers!
Bounce your baby along with this rhyming, happy chant from Bruce Degen. Don't worry if you never heard of a few of the "berries," your baby will still love you for reading to her. This is my favorite book for giving to new parents. It is happy, colorful, and so engaging that parents may soon find themselves using snatches of the poem in everyday conversations with their babies--what a way to encourage early literacy! Who wouldn't want to be read to when books are this fun!

It's okay but not great....
Just wasn't for us. Purchased for my 21 month old son based on the reviews but honestly he wasn't interested in the story at all.

Razzamatazberry!!!
This is my children's favorite picture book. With all the baby shower requests to bring your favorite book...this has been a regular purchase. Heartfelt, endearing and teaches children that sweets are not only candy!

Great Book!
Lately my 16 month old son hasn't been sitting through a whole book and he gets bored easily. We bought Jamberry recently and he LOVES it. He has requested it many times and he flips back and forth through the pages just staring at the pictures. Very interesting to him! And it can be read starting on any page. Fun!
