A slap in the face to the real Jamestown settlement
If you have ANYTHING else to do with your time, please do it and skip this book. It is terrible. I would put it on my top 5 "Least Favorite Books Ever" list, and that's after reading 1000+ books. The writing style(s) are horrible, confusing, and just get really old. The change of POV seems to be completely random and does nothing to help the plot or character development. Having studied the real Jamestown settlement quite a bit, I have no idea why the author chose to use it for this story. The only similarities are basically the names of the characters. This book was a huge letdown, and believe me, if this is even remotely how the future is going to be, I don't want to be there! Also, not to sure what all the sexual references really did to help the plot/character development. This is just a poorly written book. If I didn't force myself to finish books that I start, just to give them a chance to come together, I would have dropped this after the first chapter. Save yourself the boredom/confusion.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
