    Great for all ages

    For about half a year I had been tweaking other people's Javascripts to see what would happen. I had tryed learning Javascript off the Internet, but the authors delved into techincal phrase-ology. This book taught me and my brother Javascipt within a week. It is true that not all of the HTML examples are complete, but that is the only setback.

    Great Book to for Beginners

    This is an excellent book for those who are looking for a book that starts from the basics, and builds from there. This book requires no prior knowledge of JavaScript. I can say this because this is my first JavaScript book I¿ve ever read. This book has an example for every topic being taught, which enforces what you read. What this book lacks is complete HTML code that goes along with the examples using HTML. If you have minimal HTML experience prior to reading this book, you should be able to follow along very well. Having no HTML experience, will require you to think on your own to put the pieces together. This task is not difficult. Over all, this is a great book for aspiring JavaScripters.

    Great way for beginners to learn the basics

    This book is great if you are a beginner with little to no prior experience. When I first opened this book up, I knew very little about programming and nothing about JavaScript, and I am now able to incorporate basic scripts into my websites.

    Good for learning, so-so for reference

    The book is organized ina way that makes it pretty strong for learning if you don't know much to start with. However, if you just need some reference I would recommend looking around more. I found it lacking in its examples. The javascript examples often needed certain things set up in the html file that were not supplied and required you to either consult other sources or search through earlier parts of the book. If you are going to learn from start to finish, this book is good, but if you need good examples on some of the more complicated items, the book is incomplete.

    Great Reference Book for JavaScript

    I just purchased this book and it's great. The colored illustrations are clear and make the reading easy. I recommend this book as a great reference for anyone wanting to enhance their webpage. I did notice that some programming knowledge is necessary.

    Extremely Useful for Reference....Get this one

    Cheap and extremely useful for reference... You need to know a bit about javascript before buying this one...
