    Nearly Perfect

I bought this for my husband for Christmas, and ended up reading it myself! Although Jeff seems to interrupt himself throughout, it's an easy read. It's terrific for beginning fans of the sport as he takes the time to explain EVERYTHING. None-the-less, this is one of the most entertaining books I've read in quite some time. Jeff has some one liners that are hilarious. It's 'nearly perfect', except he might want to hire a different proof reader next time- I found 3 mistakes.

A must read for the NASCAR fan

I have to say, this is a great book. I got it for Christmas and couldn't wait to start reading it. I am a Jeff Gordon/Jimmie Johnson fan and it not only informed me of Jeff, it informed me of everything to do with racing. From what builds a great team to different terms used in racing. Perfect for a rookie fan who would like to get the inside scoop. Two thumbs up Jeff.

    What Winners are Made Of

I read this book cover to cover the first time I picked it up. Jeff Gordon is revealed to fans as a talented, driven, caring guy. Once you've read the book you'll know why he is considered one of the greatest drivers of all time. The book describes in detail how a championship team is created and the absolute perseverance and determination that is necessary to become a champion. The lessons in this book translate into building championship teams in more than NASCAR. CEO's can learn a thing or two about building management teams and fostering a family approach to find a path to success. Now I know what winners are made of... guts, drive, compassion and talent. Here is a story parents will be glad to have their children read. Finally a role model worthy of the title.

    Awesome!

Jeff's book is a must read for any NASCAR fan! It explains all the hard work it took him to get to the top, quells lots of rumors, and you can't help but like him!! You not only feel like you're in the pits but riding with him in the #24!
