    Typo error omission

An outstanding New Testament Translation for not only Jews, but us Goyim (Gentiles) as well. The clarity of the WORD ,written by Jews, for Jews, given to the Goyim to HELP the Jews believe, is such a blessing. Highly Recommended by this Pastor and his staff !! The Complete Jewish Bible Is the completion of this work , and we use it to gleen the true Word of GOD from all other texts. Thanks to our Brother, David Stern, for being obedient ! However, there is a typo omission in the book of Mattityahu(Matthew)24:36. The text ends on page 35 with'"...not the angels", and begins again on pg.36 with vv #37. This verse is complete in the C.J.B., and finishes'" heaven, not the Son, only the Father. Important words. Please make note of the omission.

A search to understand Jewishness of Jesus

I've read several regular English translations of the Bible (NIV, NRSV, NKJV, KJV, etc) I was having difficulties in understanding Jesus as a Jew and the Jewish people. There was something that was missing that I was looking for in relation to the Jewish People and the Holy Scriptures. I by chance (?) came across this Jewish New Testament translation by Mr. Stern and I've not be able to let go of it, this text has help fill some of the longing I've had. The Jewish New Testament has helped a bunch now in my needing to understand the Messianic beginnings and making the Jewishness of the Holy Scriptures real for me. Next on my list is to purchase the Complete Bible translation by Mr. Stern.

Gain a whole new perspective on the scriptures.

The Jewish New Testament is a must for any serious student of the Bible. It is written in the perspective and cultural vernacular of those who wrote it......Jews. It has the lilt and meter of The Living Bible, so it is easy to read. Most importantly, however, is that it clears up many common issues of Christian Faith, such as Grace vs. Law, Works vs. Faith, and more. And, it does it by bringing forward from the the 1st century AD, the Hebrew minds of the people who spoke the words. It is very important to read the introductory notes, which are practically a textbook, and a wealth of information,in themselves.
