Joy Wilson is a phenomenal human being whose writing makes you feel like you're her best friend, in the kitchen baking something with her. Her gregarious and hilarious personality oozes out of the pages, and keeps you giggling all the way through the recipes.

The actual recipes are amazing! I've loved every single one I've tried so far and her book made me want to make them all, right now!
The Joy the Baker cookbook will make you happy, so I'd recommend you buy one right. this. very. minute.

A Beautiful Book - Just what I expected!

My biggest fear after paging through this book is that I won't have enough time in my life to make everything lovingly crafted between its pages. Each recipe is beautifully photographed and offers the same comforting conversational style we've come to expect from Joy in her blog. I sincerely look forward to trying almost all of recipes within, which is something I can't say about the many other cookbooks I own. It is a knockout debut for this author and I can't wait to see what else she does. Anyone who loves to bake or eat should own this book!
