One of Patterson's best...

I've read a lot of James Patterson, and this is one of my favorites. You will not be disappointed.

Way too predictable...

This was my first James Patterson book and may be my last. The plot was decent enough to keep me reading, but very unoriginal. I swear James Patterson had the story line of 'Team America' in mind while writing. If you're looking for a quick read that is mildly entert...

But don't waste your money in stores, just borrow it from your library. You won't want to keep it anyway.

    Ok Read

The book was better than I thought it would be. I thought it would be filled with mostly court scenes, but it wasn't. For the most part, it was a page turner (especially because Patterson's chapters are so long) and it kept me entertained. It isn't one of my favorites by him, but it was still an ok read. Not sure I cared much for the ending though.

    Not Pattersons best

I've never given my opinion of Patterson's books less than 4 stars, but this one just lacked the energy of the others. I've always found in his other books that just when I think I've got it all figured it out, its always a 'gotcha' - but this one was too predictible and although Nick and Andie were tracking the mafia boss - they were a far cry from Mr. and Ms. Excitement.

    Disappointed

When taking a long plane ride or going on a beach vacation, I always like to take a Patterson novel. They're fun, quick, and light. Perfect for relaxation. This one, however, was tedious. The characters were even more one-dimensional than usual and the plot twists even more absurd. At least Patterson's early novels were suspenseful. This wasn't.

    Disappointing for a Patterson book

I have been a James Patterson fan for many years but I am not so sure any longer. This book, while it was a good story, there was absolutely no mystery to it. It was extremely predictable where Patterson has historically shocked me with the intrigue he creates. I wonder if there is any Patterson in this book other than the quick, short chapter style of writing. Fortunately for me, I borrowed this book from a friend and did not have to pay for it. Mr. Patterson, give us some more stories like 'Along Came a Spider'. I have hardly enjoyed these dual author books.
