And if there's one thing one needs with twins, it's laughter to recharge!!<BR/>Buy more than one as you'll not want to lend yours out but will want to give to others, even those with only one babe at a time!

    Good read

This books addresses the stress & happiness of twin life... and parenting. It is honest about the stress and strain it can put on you as woman, wife and mother. I have twin girls and this made me feel it was o.k. to feel what I am feeling... some of the other books only address the wonderfulness that is motherhood and sometimes, you don't feel that way. I would recommend this book whole heartily.

    Very True

We have 2 twin newborns under 12 weeks at home and this book has described our life very accurately. I wish we had purchased this book earlier. What others have described as negativity or sarcasm is an accurate description of the discipline and sense of humor required to survive the first few months with 2 very needy newborns at home. The book contains practical tips for new parents and contains solutions for people at all income ranges. The takeaways: Try to prepare, demand help from family and friends, be disciplined with your kids and yourself and try to laugh.

    would not recommend this book

I found this book to be very cynical and impractical. I think that the joy of pregnancy and motherhood is completely over looked by this book that constantly suggests that you use everyone who cares about you for manual labor and you have to become a nazi to survive raising twins. The book also assumes that you will be in a position to hire additional help, such as a night time nanny or a full time assistant. It also made me feel that trying to raise my babies with just my husband was completely naive and impractical, but I am pretty sure that there are plenty of families who can raise their children lovingly and effectively as a family.
