    This book is geared to the health conscious. As someone that does not have a great deal of experience with juicing, the simple and informative way the book explains the process was very helpful. Besides the juicing methods and recipes, the book also provides many health related details such as a nutritional index and a description of health benefits for each ingredient. It can be a little difficult however to find exactly what kind of juice you want from the way the various recipes are split up in the book. I did try the apple honeydew juice and found it to be very tasty.

    For those who are just learning about juicing, this book is a great start. There are recipes galore, as well as nutrition breakdowns for many common fruits and veggies. The author also gives brief descriptions on the three main types of juicers. This is an all around great book for newbie juicers.

    I never paid much attention to juicing, but after reading this book, I am intrigued. It offers very useful information, including tips on choosing a juicer, what ingredients to stock up on, and ailments that are aided by juicing (note, it remains careful not to tout juicing as a cure). The recipes included within are beautiful in presentation and delicious to boot. Check this book out if you want clear and concise information about juicing, or if you are in need of new recipes ideas.

    Finally a book about juicing for logical and sane people! Juicing for Beginners is a mini-encyclopedia of juicers, fruits, vegetables and practicality. This book lets us know how and why we should be juicing and provides some very tasty ways of going about it. And, if you’re prize driven, three-benefits can be yours each time you try a new recipe. The author provides these great Health-Benefit Icons on each of the incredible recipes. Ingenious!

    Juicing for beginners is a well thought out guide, perfect for anyone who would like to introduce juicing into their diet. This guide explains the overall health and nutritional facts of juicing while emphasizing the weight loss benefits as well. Juicing for beginners does a great job of showing someone new to the juicing world how to select and clean the proper juicer. It also explains the health benefits of fruits and vegetables as well as includes 100 recipes to get anyone started off on the right path. This is an awesome guide for the first time juicer.

    Good introduction to juicing. Recipe and fruit/vegetable chapters are well organized with descriptions of the function and nutritional value of each fruit and vegetable. There's an extensive collection of recipes that are simple and easy to follow, each with health-benefit icons that clearly indicate the primary benefits of the recipe. All in all, an invaluable reference.

Whatever your desired goal, it can taste great with any fruit or veggie you love incorporated. The ingredients are easy and the use of the health benefits icons helps visually categorize each recipe. The first half of the guide provides an overwhelming amount of information, but the portions dedicated to health and nutrition are useful and educational.     The book does a good job of explaining the potential health benefits of juicing and provides a plethora of appealing recipes! However, it does not tell provide the reader with any suggestions on how to making a recipe taste better if you don't like how it comes out of the juicer- which would be a nice addition. I thought the information in the book was helpful in determining if juicing would be a good alternative for me!

    I have never attempted juicing before, but Juicing for Beginner

    I have never attempted juicing before, but Juicing for Beginners has inspired me to. I found this book to be very informative. It really breaks down the whole idea of “juicing,” and how different juices can benefit your health. There are some really yummy recipes for juices that are included as well--it’s a great place to start for newbie juicers like myself!
