I think the characters were 4 stars. I think that because of Huey, one of the characters. The story had two bad things, so because of that I gave it a 3 star rating. One is that they say some wrong things about snakes, and the other thing is in the beginning the book almost gave itself away. Overall, the book is 3 stars because the story is 3 stars, and that is the main part.

    Highly Recommended

I think the reason I gave this book a four star rating is because it gave the story away in the beginning. The characters are very funny, and Julian always makes mistakes and escapes. Huey, one of the characters is very funny. --Josh (Second Grade)

I think the characters are five stars because Huey is funny, Dad is strong, Julian is thoughtful and Mom is very, very nice. Gloria is also peaceful. I gave the story 3 stars because it said that snakes have "bad eye sight," and I thought that was not true. I don't like when people say something wrong about snakes. Overall, I gave four starts because the characters are very interesting. --Milen (Second Grade)

I gave it four stars for characters because out of all the characters, I like three of them: Julian, Gloria, and Daughter of Blue Fang. My favorite part is when the kids give presents. I would give the whole book five stars because it deserves it. Go Julian Dream Doctor! --Merin (Second Grade)
