This book was a mix of thoughts.
This book is very confusing at first. Ellison doesn't use quotation marks correctly. It takes a little bit of reading to get used to his style of writing. This book just sounded like a myriad of thoughts and memories. There are some moments where I felt like falling asleep and other moments where I was wide awake. Later, I found out that someone found pieces of his work that he was working on before his death. Then, they put it in this book. There really isn't a plot, except that the audience gets a taste of the life Ellison might have seen.
