I use this as a textbook in my course on implementation-level testing
Not many books have come out on unit testing recently. Most of the discussions of jUnit and associated tools are unusably out of date. And most of them focus on the technology--how to create and organize your unit tests rather than what tests to write. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. This book provides an excellent introduction to the technology, with clear examples that my students can easily understand. I haven't noticed errors yet. The book's guidance on unit test design (what errors to look for, how to design tests to find them) is shallow, but I haven't yet noticed _bad_ advice, which is a significant benefit compared to several other books in this space.
