Unlikable sisters, Uninteresting plot
I loved the first three Summoning books, but this one was a complete bust. The twins were self-centered and just plain not likable. In the beginning you are told they have been apart (happily) for years, they land in Lladrana and cling to each other while calling the other 'twin', cling to each other for less than 24 hours while claiming they cannot be apart - they promply MOVE apart with little physical interaction. The romance in this book was flat and boring as well. I looked forward to Sevair's story and was bitterly disappointed at the way Owens handled it. Would happily recommend the previous three Summoning books to readers. Before the next, take a peek at the last chapter of this book and you will not have missed anything you need to know. You will not have missed a thing! Or not, as I'm sure she will be giving the same info on the new heroine in the next as it will be her story.
