Love the writing and the plot
Sonnie and Chris are wonderful together. She goes through some dangerous times and he's an ex-cop who doesn't want to get involved, but just knowing Sonnie puts him on the run from danger, too. All the way through you want the bad people to be found and it's a cliff hanger through every page. The love story tears at you.

Really enjoyed it
From the start you know there is so much at stake in this book. You want to take Sonnie and do something to make it all work out yourself. That's why I just loved it when Chris was there and he's worldly, and has loads of guts--and he can't stop himself from going to Sonnie's aid. It was really nice that although there's so much tension, some of the things people say make you laugh.

A Guilty Pleasure
I read Cameron's novel in two great afternoons at the beach. It brought back the feeling of the Keys. Buy it! And while you're at it, another guilty pleasure is 'Key West: A Story Sequence' by Jon Michael Miller. These stories are as tangy as Key lime pie. Its characters will keep you amused as you wait in airports, lie on the beach, and lounge by the pool. I give it five stars also, for capturing the flavor of my favorite place, Key West. These two books are zesty companions!

Not Very Believable
I'm a new Stella Cameron reader and liked the few books I've read. However, this one was a chore to get through. Sonnie Giacano is a wimpy, winey, 'heroine' who is the target of a fantastic plot to have her put into an asylum. The plot is outlandish, the characters completely off the wall. The only thing that rates it two stars instead of one is Chris Talon and his brother Roy and Roy's life parner Bo. They, at least, are good solid fairly sensible characters who have a little sense.

Interesting Romance
This was my first bool by Stella Cameron, I am sure not the last! Eight monthes ago Sonnie's husband is supposedly abducted by terrists and she suffers from a horrible crash.Convinced that she is going crazy she has to find out what happened the last time she spoke to Frank. When she meets her boss Roy's brother Christian Talon who i s an ex-NYPD cop things get alittle toasty.Frist he does not want to help the fragil Sonnie but the more she pushes the more he is drug into her dagerous world. When I first started reading this book I was convinced she was probably nuts but the more I read I was convinced her half sister Billy and brother in-law Ramono had something to do with it. I couldn't put it down.I recommend this book to anyone who loves dangerous romance novels.

AN INTERESTING STORY
I was not very hooked on the plot that Sonnies relatives were trying to make her crazy to take her money, but Chris Talon makes an interesting twist to it. It shows how far you're willing to go for love. Definetly one you will not want to put down.

An excellent romantic suspense!
I couldn't put it down. Stella Cameron's one of my favorite authors. And with this story, she proved me right. Her writing could enhance her readers' minds by making every details in the story seemed real. The characters and the plot were intriguing with a lot of twists and turns. Don't missed this one.
