    Just start hitting people.
Since I didn’t know this existed, I made the mistake of reading Kick-Ass 2 after the first book. It’s too bad because this book bridges the gap perfectly and really fills in that missing time. I guess that’s my fault, but why didn’t they call this Kick-Ass 2 instead? Kick-Ass is still in it, it’s not like it’s only about Hit-Girl. Well, whatever, now I have all of them and can read them in the appropriate order whenever I want.
I don’t know if they can ever top what they did in the first book since that was so surprising and fun to me but this is definitely a welcome addition, especially since Hit-Girl is my favorite character anyway. Romita Jr.’s artwork is wonderful as always, and along with Millar’s consistently solid story you’ve got another winner on your hands. Now is there a book between 2 and 3 that I should know about?

You gotta buy this if you're a Kick Ass or Mark Millar fan!

Now I love Hit Girl as a character. This comic lets you see things from Hit girl's perspective as she tries to fit into school, balance her family and her badass life as a vigilante. It really fills in the gaps between Kick-Ass and Kick-Ass 2. Its so good that it must be part of your collection and should NOT be skipped over. I enjoyed it so much that I reread Kick-Ass 2 because of the way Hit-Girl set it up. To sum it up, its awesome and you just got to check it out yourself. BUY IT!
