This is a good book that describes not just the medical side of dealing with a cancer diagnosis, but also the emotional impact such a diagnosis can have on one’s life. It is full of personal stories from the author as well as a few others. The author gives a comprehensive account of what living with cancer is like and how one can deal with it through food.

The book also breaks down the kinds of food one should eat which could prevent cancer or help a person living with cancer offset the impact of chemotherapy. The books breaks down each of the foods in sections. It even tells you which foods to avoid because of how they can adversely affect your body.

I found this book to be very informative and will be incorporating some of what the author suggested in my diet. The recipes at the end are a plus. I love recipes and some of them sound really delicious. I look forward to making them.

If you are suffering from cancer, know someone who is, or just want to avoid it this book is worth looking at.
