    Another murder solved

Book 4 is the best so far! The main characters have been developed and now a few surprises are showing up. Our heroine is moving along nicely with her knitting and with her adjustment to Colorado. And gets thrown right into the middle of another murder! Knitting needles to the rescue--murder solved! THe next question is "Will she or won't she finally get her Alpaca farm?" I can hardly wait to get book #5! Great series!

    A Killer Stitch

I have read all the first books in this series of the Knitting Mystery. This particular book was a little slow, and kept repeating itself. I think the first books were best.

    A Thrill Ride

What a great sequel in the Knitting mystery books. The way she integrates the characters makes you fell like you are there. Time flies when you are reading these books. Can't wait to the next one.

    Best Yet in Knitting Series

I just finished A Killer Stitch and it is very well written and the best in Maggie Sefton's knitting series! Kelly and Steve's relationship is really growing and the mystery part of the book has lots of twists and turns. The best news is the ending of the book which definitely signals another book in the series!!

    fun cozy

In Fort Connor, Colorado, someone kills rakish alpaca rancher Derek Cooper with a blow to his head on his spread. The deceased was seeing House of Lampspuin instructor Lucy Adair, who is stunned by her loss. Also grieving is Diane, a friend of another instructor, who had a heated romance with the 'love 'em and leave 'em' Cooper. --- House of Lambspun knitter Kelly Flynn, curious that the local paper mentioned a homicide has no plans to investigate this DEADLY YARN although she has successfully done so three times before since leaving DC for Fort Connor nine months ago to attend her beloved aunt¿s funeral. However, when she learns of the connection to the House of Lambspun, Kelly finds an excuse to get involved if only to prove the innocence of the instructor and of the friend of another instructor over the objection of her steady date Steve. --- Interestingly the amateur sleuthing reads smoother than the kiss and tell locker room chatter amidst the knitters, as the former feels tightly stitched while the latter seems awkward sewed for this age group of obvious pals. The inquiries are fun to follow as Kelly uncovers clues one stitch at a time. Cozy fans will appreciate this fine knitting whodunit while newcomers will seek the previous Knitting Mystery patterns (see KNIT ONE, KILL TWO and NEEDLED TO DEATH). --- Harriet Klausner
