A great book for fans of the series

This is the second book in the Tudors series. I'm a fan of the Showtime series, so I had to have the books to go along. The plot follows the second season series almost to the letter. It's not a big book, so it's good to read without investing a whole lot of time. Like another reviewer said, it's good for the beach, or on a rainy afternoon. I have all three of the books for all three seasons of the series.
The characters are well written and I found myself changing how I felt about Charles Brandon and Queen Katherine. Although I admit, I knew what was coming because I have seen the series on t.v. But reading the books gave me a different perspective.
In my humble opinion, if you read these books, you won't be disappointed.

    Great show, fun novel

If you love the Showtime show The Tudors, then you should read this book. It is a historical fiction novel based on (and sometimes is word for word) from the second season of The Tudors. It is provocative and captivating, just like the show. It's a quick read so it's a great beach read or for when you want to escape for awhile.

If you are not a fan of the show or have never seen it but are interested in historical fiction or novels based off of shows or movies, then you will probably like this book.

This is a pretty good book, nothing too deep or thought provoking but it is interesting and does give you a sense of the downfall of one of the most infamous woman in English history.

    Entertaining and Fun

I was so excited when I found out there were books written on the series from HBO. I have been waiting for the second season to come out on DVD and this book was just what I needed to hold me over. I found it fun and entertaining. If you are looking for something to tell you history this isn't the book for you, but if you want a fun read, this is it!
