A somewhat scary look into our future.
This is book two of this series. Both are good, and somewhat relevant. In this series, soldiers are ostracized by the civilians. These soldiers, like the ones today, are there to save our asses, but they accept the feelings of the rest of humanity. The hero of this book is "retired", but still working the intelligence side of the battle. The aliens, whom we are fighting, are portrayed as willing killers. An interresting look towards the future.
