    Loved it!

I love this series. They brought back characters from the first book for this exciting adventure. Isyllt is still hurting from the death of her beloved and is trying to recover seeking comfort and distraction in the arms of her friend and companion Adam, while trying to find a place where she belongs. Adam has been a year in prison and welcomes female companionship but then a woman he loved and was betrayed by has appeared out of his past and he can't stop the overwhelming feelings she stirs in him. He is given an opportunity to finally be with the woman he believed he loved. Moth who was introduced in the second book has followed Isyllt to become her student. She is faced with many choices to make stay with Isyllt or allow herself to be seduced away to be the student of another talented spy. The same woman who just happens to be seducing away from Isyllt. Then last is Asheris al Seth the jinn imprisoned in a human body from the first book. He works for the Empress of Assar and has asked Isyllt to Assar to help him solve the problem of the ghost wind. He faces betrayal, heart ache, and the chance to finally find a place that he can belong as what he really is and not as a Demon in hiding. Besides Isyllt Asheris is my favorite person to read about and I look forward to discovering more. I recommend reading this series, and I can't wait until the next book comes out. The only thing I hope for in the future books is that Isyllt can meet someone who is captivating and captivated by her. She could use a little happiness and that is definitely something I want to see.

    Superb character study

Beautifully written prose shimmers in this moving and somewhat sad tale that deepens the characters and enchants readers. Bravo.
