This was a fun Christian, adventure, romance novel. The setting was a
fun change, taking place in Timbuktu and on the Amazon River. There are
some religious conflicts Tillie faces and quotes many bible verses in
her head. There was plenty of action, conflict and clean romance. I
have enjoyed other books from this author and will read more.

Very good Christian romance, set in the heart of Africa. Lots of suspense, and a good story line. I enjoyed it, and can't wait to read the next two!

    A Sweet Love Story

This is a PG love story with some Christian living and a lot of adventure mixed in. It features appealing characters and is enjoyable, rather than anxiety-provoking.

Very enjoyable, wish I had Tillie's faith.

I loved this book. Unlike other Christian romances, this book had a really fun and adventuresome plot. I liked how her love interest, Graeme, was not the typical Christian man as is in most Christian romances. She struggled with that and I think had more faith because of it. Overall, I thouroughly enjoyed it and juat purcased the next two in the series. (That is how they get you... get the first free so you will buy the rest! )

    Unexpected enjoyment

There are 250 pages or so, which is just about right. The book is set in Africa, which made it different than a lot of other romance books. I could tell that the author of the book went through a lot of research to be able to provide the detail that she did. The book is also different because the main female character is a Christian; the male lead is not. They have struggles in their journey to find a treasure and in within themselves. Both make the story interesting.
