Theres hardly a misstep on this lovely soundtrack featuring sparkling performances from many of the greatest female jazz vocalists. Grabbing the spotlight may be our newest diva, Diana Krall, who delivers a specially recorded version of Bob Doroughs Devil May Care. Shes in heavy company: Legendary names like Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah

One of the best soundtracks I ever heard, It transports you to another era and see the New York ligths even if you are in Los Angeles.

Anyone, Who sings that one hip hop number in the movie? It's not featured on the soundtrack.

I love all the artists represented, so imagine my joy when I saw the movie and realized that they'd all be on the same album! Each is good, though I will admit that I'm a big fan of Diana Krall and this specially recorded version of Devil May Care is not only excellent, but is a wonderful example of her sheer brilliance in the modern jazz scene.

This soundtrack is fabulous. One of my favorite tracks (other than my all-time favorite Diana Krall's Devil May Care) is "Manhattan" sung by Ella Fitzgerald. Most of the other tracks are great as well. Add this cd to your collection - you won't be sorry.
