    excellent guide

    I wanted to redecorate the kitchen and do it on a shoe-string budget. The problem was that I really didn't know much about my options and it seemed like all the contractors wanted to do was make me pay, pay, pay. Long story short, this book answered all my questions and then some. I was able to figure out exactly what I needed and how to get the look I wanted without breaking the bank. Whether you're looking for a full-on big-time remodel or just an update to your kitchen, I can't recommend this book enough.

    Particularly useful for making budget choices in kitchen remodeling/building!!

    This book was invaluble for planning the kitchen for my low budget retirement home.
