'knit hats!' has a fun shape & colorful pictures, including photos of finished pieces of each pattern. Unlike most hat books I've seen, all these hats are practical, yet special enough to be worth the time to knit. Most are suitable for beginners like me, and there are a few that would be good for a first attempt to learn felting & doubleknitting. It's full of easy to read charts and diagrams. Many of the hats have Faire Isle patterns, which I'm not into, but they're easy to adapt. I borrowed this from the library, and had to buy my own copy. Was this review helpful?
