    AFFIRMATIONS FOR KNITTING ADDICTS

MS. NARGI HAS PRESENTED IDEAS FROM INTERVIEWS WITH MANY KNITTERS ACROSS THE US. INFORMING US, ENTERTAINING US, AND AFFIRMING WHAT KNITTERS ALREADY KNOW MAKES THIS BOOK A SOURCE OF COMFORT AND NEW KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE CRAFT OF MAKING FABRIC WITH TWO NEEDLES. THOSE OF US THAT CREATE BY KNITTING ARE SUPPORTED IN OUR EFFORTS TO CONTINUE THE PROCESS OF THIS ARTISTIC ENDEAVOR.

ESPECIALLY INTERESTING ARE THE STORIES OF HOW AND WHY PEOPLE STARTED TO KNIT, WHETHER THEY DROPPED IT FOR YEARS AND THEN WENT BACK TO IT, OR IF THEY ALWAYS HAVE HAD A DEEP PASSION FOR THIS CRAFT.

THE STORIES CAPTIVATED MY ATTENTION AND INSPIRED ME TO DO MORE.

    The Knitting Soul Revealed

Every knitter has an intrinsic connection with their art (or craft however u think of it). Many of our stories and paths interconnect and this book reveals that. When i read it, i thought 'these stories all sound like me'. These are my people. I haven't read a book that fast in years i literally could NOT put it down. I am keeping it on my desk for moments where my linear day to day job takes over and crushes me a bit. That book will continue to uplift me for a long time to come. I have been passing the title to anyone i know who knits and they have all fallen in love with it. It is unbelievably inspiring and it feels as warm as throwing your grandma's knitted afghan around your shoulders.
