I had fun reading some of the many poems.

I'm in third grade and this is one of the books on a list of poem books that I could choose from. I chose this book because I liked the title of the book and the cover. I thought that the poems were going to be about stars. When I read the book I saw that I liked most of the poems but not others. The ones I didn't like were about death. Some of the poems were really boring! My favorite poems in the book are the funny ones. I also liked some poems that used words to make pictures. There was one that had words and they were shaped like a cat. You should really take a look at it. The other poems I liked are the ones that made me think about things. One of them was about a mouse that ate sunsets and not cheese. If you like many different authors and many different poems I think this book will be good for you.

    Knock at a Star

This book is awesome! I really didn't enjoy poetry until I read some of the ones in Knock at a Star. I think it's especially great for kids.
