    I Also Recommend:

    Great creepy book.

In 1988 KoKo was written. Koko was followed in the early '90s by the related novels Mystery and The Throat, which together with Koko make up the "Blue Rose Trilogy"<BR/><BR/>I really enjoyed this book, it was a great thriller and horror. It took me 5 days to read this book, and each page and chapter unfolded the mystery little by little. This book is about 4 Vietnam Vets, who are in the search of KoKo. What they discover is that whoever and whatever KoKo is. It is picking off their old platoon one by one.

I want those 7 hours of my life back

I kept waiting for something interesting or scary to happen, but alas it never did. Maybe after reading a few of Straub's better titles I was expecting too much.

    Poppykit

    Pg 1
Poppykit opened her eyes, her chesnut fur freezing. She looked around, her vision blurry. She waited and then saw white smow everywhere around her. She then saw her brother and her mother.
"She opened her eyes, Mommy!" Her brother with black fluffy fur said. Her mother licked poppykit's head. And stood up and picked the two kits up and padded back to the nursery.
"Where have you been?!" Lionfoot (father of grass and poppy) said. Lilyflower (their mother) just looked at him and sighed,
"Grasskit(poppykit's brother) wanted to see what snow looked like," she said very quietly.
"There not even old enough! What if grasskit fell? Plus you brought poppykit when she hadnt even opened her eyes yet!" He yells at Lilyflower. "Now stay in the nursery until they are old enough," he said sighing. Poppykit layed down in the nursery. Grasspaw jumped and ran in circles. Lilyflower shook her head and said to them, "Dinner time!" They both raced to their mother belly and suckled her warm milk. After they were done they heard noises in the forest. Out came the Shadowclan warriors attacking Thunderclan. Lilyflower yelled at her kits, "Run!" Lilyflower attack a ragged black tom.
In horror, Poppykit raced into the forest not seeing her brother. She didnt know if she should go back to him. She didnt even know where he was. She hid in the bushes and waited. Still hearing noises she raced out. She saw blood splattered on the ground and her clanmates battling. A brown tom picked her up and carried her to the Shadwclan territory.
