Catching Fire is the sequel to the hit book Hunger Games. It features a special edition of the Games, called the Quarter Quell. This is called the Quarter Quell because it is the 75th anniversary of the Hunger Games. Every Quarter Quell, there is a strange twist on the rules. You never know what may happen.
This book will grab your attention and make you finish it in one sitting. It has plenty of suspense, and lots of detail. There are twists and turns on every page, grabbing your attention.
The main character, Katniss Everdeen is a victor of the Hunger Games. She makes way through unexpected turns, and remains tough through hard times.
I especially liked all of the actions and perseverance of Katniss. She never knows what is coming, and sometimes, that is bad for her. Katniss is a well described character, with a clear personality.
Overall, Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins is just as good as the first book in the trilogy, The Hunger Games.
