    Intriguing ending! 4 ½ stars
I have just finished reading LADY ANNE'S LOVER written by Maggie Robinson.
It's her third book and conclusion ending The London List Series.
It was fast paced, well written with an intriguing murder plot and captivating, as
Ms. Robinson's books are usually are. I really love this story but my favorite still
    remains CAPTAIN DURANT'S COUNTESS.
It's the story of Imaculata Anne Egremont, a beautiful and stubborn woman with a sharp tongue and
a terrible housekeeper. Wanting to forget her past, she runs away and offers her services
to keep house for a bachelor named Major Gareth Ripton-Jones. Gareth is a wounded man
and has money problems, he has to find a solution in order to keep his estate. So here starts the fun.
Anne and Gareth will concoct a plan to marry,in name only, so she will be able to access her heritage
    and help him with his financial difficulties. This will work fine, until sparks flare between the two;
Gareth is attracted to Anne and wants her in his bed! Some scenes are so charming and funny! Ms, Robinson created two romantic characters that you will love. I also loved her first book LORD GRAY'S LIST.
I highly recommend her three books and I am looking forward to read IN THE HEART OF THE HIGHLANDER.
If, you are a fan of stories set in the Regency era, then this book is perfect for you!

Major Ripton-Jones survived the war intact, at least physically, but he returns home to find that his father has all but lost their home and he must work to try to save it. If that's not bad enough he is injured while working on a tenant's home and loses his arm and also his fiance.
Lady Imaculata Anne Egremont has two years until she is of age and can claim her fortune. She must hide from her father until then and so answers the Major's ad for a housekeeper.
This story deals with some difficult subject matter but I felt the author handled it well and fleshed out her characters in such a manner so that you completely sympathized with them and what they were going through.

I love this book!  Maggie Robinson is a terrific storyteller and never fails to delight me with her tales.  This story has so many themes it's hard to list them all.  But let me say that Lady Anne and her hero, Gareth, are two lost souls who find strength within themselves all the while finding their way with each other.  This is the last in the London List series.  It's my opinion you don't need to read the others to enjoy this story, but they are all great and unique tales.  The author has a satisfying way of telling stories filled with humor and passion while delivering the feel-good HEA.  I loved Lady Anne throughout this entire story.  I got a little frustrated with Gareth, but he came through in the end.  I found it was a perfect story for my historical cravings.  I can't wait to see what the author will come up with next.

LADY ANNE'S LOVER by Maggie Robinson is an exciting Regency Hist

LADY ANNE'S LOVER by Maggie Robinson is an exciting Regency Historical Romance set in 1820-1821 Wales. #3 and final in the "London List" series, but can be read as a stand alone with re-appearing characters. See," Lord Gray's List" and "Captain Durant's Countess". Fast paced and filled with murder, scandal, fear, misery, betrayal, regrets, healing, forgiveness and love. Oh yea, passion! Join,Lady Imaculata Anne Egremont,a runaway,a scandalous young lady who poses as a housekeeper. When you learn her true reasons for the scandals, you will be amazed. Oh, I forgot to mention, Lady Anne,is a heiress. And Major Gareth Ripton-Jones,a wounded, penniless, tortured soul who has scandals of his own. Together they will navigate their passion, find truth among so many lies, learn to trust each other and find true love after all. A truly HEA story! Once again, Ms. Robinson has written a story filled with passion and romance, one where the characters are not just characters but you feel as though they are a friend. The storyline is interesting as well as intriguing. A not to miss story! I love this series! I would recommend reading all three, you do not have to read in order,if you have not read them, you really should, you will not regret it.

Received for an honest review from the publisher.
