A must read for anyone interested in Jane Grey, the 9 day Queen
This book was so well researched, and it actually brought to light new information on the age old debate of how Lady Jane was chosen to be crowned Queen. New research puts a brighter light on King Edward VI, and his last wishes, before his short reign ends. Many question this information, solely because Edward was so ill during this time frame. I would argue that Edward, being in some ways like his father, Henry VIII, had a mind of his own, and in no way was he willing to accept less than what he expected. King Edward VI, saw in Jane Grey the answer to his vision for England, during this time of religious upheavel. This book is very specific with certain events, and why history has not been completely accurate. At times, this book might be considered "dry reading," however bear with the author. I feel as though I have a better understanding of how events unfolded, after reading this book. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in Lady Jane Grey, or King Edward VI
