Rich Regency Romance
It's been years since I have read a Regency Romance and I'd forgotten how much I enjoy reading books set in that period.  It's especially enjoyable when the author writes with authority and rich, wonderful detail—details about the land and river and fly fishing were captivating.  Gabriel Gordon, the sixth Earl of Wylde, was a wonderful brooding and sexy hero!  I will definitely be reading the other Regency books by this author.

    Boring

    Predictable romance.
    Feeble attempt at intrigue/ mystery.
Incessant filler material about fly fishing

    Disappointed

This was the free Friday book and when I tried to open it I was greeted with a message wanting my credit card information. Not so free after all...

Written like an over the top fairy tale. The lanuguage is not off enough to be funny and on enough to be serious. The maid (or abigail?), speaks more like Miss Scarlett's maid. I know it is a free book, but it is not a good choice to read.
