A road map for hard times!

The sub-title of the book says it all: Finding God in difficult transitions. Jeff Manion is not dealing with a hard day. The Land Between deals with gut wrenching periods of time. This book ranks as a must read. If you are in traveling in the land between, you're crazy to ignore what Jeff is communicating. Strong words but true, and coming from a guy in such a transition.

?The last thing we want to hear is another book we should read when in difficult transitions. This is a book we should read. Why? 1) Israel made costly mistakes that can be avoided. 2) We need to remember that God is not merely with us, He is intimately at work in us. 3) It is not a lassie tale of hard times turned good. The Land Between lays out the road map for our hard journey. More than the insane details of our challenges, we must embrace God. The feeling I got after reading The Land Between was calm resolve. Not the emotion I expected.

Must read for teens and adults alike

I have recommeded this to hundreds of people. This book is a MANDATORY book about LIFE and LIFE's decisions. There are so many insights that seem to logical and yet we seldom view them as such. This book came to me at a difficult time and brought such hope and advise that my husband and I read it and processed through it together. I wish I had this book 20 years ago.

Highly Recommended - a must read!

Jeff Manion captures the difficult experiences of life and continually points towards hope using scriptural examples. One of the most relevant books I've read.

    I Also Recommend:

    Inspirational and Helpful

If you ever get that feeling of loss and/or despair when you're caught in a big predicament that could inevitably change your life or cause problems, and you just simply don't know what to do and/or you feel lost and hopeless because of it, The Land Between delivers a message of hope and guidance for just such situations. We went through this book in my Friday morning men's Bible study, and once we were finished I went back and re-read some of it, and I have to say that it really helped me. It challenges you to really stand firm in faith and belief when you enter into trials and tribulations, and to trust that God knows what He is doing. To any Christian out there or just simply anyone out there who is struggling or having a really hard time, I highly recommend reading this book. I really feel that it will help you.
