It's ok

I sort of lost intrest in the book at the near end, and think that means that the author, Andrew Clements, didn't make it interesting enough for readers.

    The Landry New

If you think school can¿t be funny, you are wrong and you should read books by Andrew Clements. You¿ll see that school is fun. In the book The Landry News, Cara loves making the Landry Newspaper for her school, but the principal said it was inappropriate. Cara must find a way to let kids read the newspaper without the principal knowing. Mr. Larson is an old teacher that thinks kid should learn by themselves. The parents and teachers don¿t like him, but the kids do. I recommend this to anyone who likes funny books. The age group is 9-15 years. Andrew Clements was born in 1949 in Camden, New Jersey. He wrote his first book in 1996. He lives in Maine with his wife and son. If you like the Landy New you will like Lunch Money, The Report Card and The Class Story.

The book you can't put down...

When I first read one of Andrew Clemets books, I thought the book was okay, but then I read The Landry News. I finished the book in 2 hours, because i loved it so much. It is one of the best books for kids you will ever find.

    Landry News

The Landry New is about a little girl who writes a newspaper. There are alot of problems in this book. There's one about the principal who doesn't like the newspapers, and ther's one about her teacher that won't teach and other stuff too. I think this book is very emotional. For example,a boy writes a paper about his life. It's about his parents getting a divorced. This is one of the sad part in the story. The girl that writes the newspaper has the same problem. I liked this book and I reccomend it to my friends and everybody else.

    About The Landry News

This book is about a little girl who writes a newspaper. Her teacher hates the first edition. He ripped it up. She didn't care so she kept writing the newspaper anyway. I thought it was a very good book. It was intresting because it was about a newspaper and divorce. It had very intresting words in it. These words were new to me. I would recommend reading this book because it's vocabulary is good and wide. If you want to know the rest of the book read it yourself.

The Landry News is a Success

This was a great book it was as my teacher says it "a real page turner." It instantly turned into a classic. I wanted to keep reading but since we read it in class if I did the next day I would be bored. I highly recommend this book for 7 & up. If you do read it I do hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.

One of the most magnificient books i ever read

This book is a book of acknowledgment and pride. Cara and her class should be proud of their selfs. I thought I could only like one author and their books, but when I read this book it was hard to chose because I really liked this book and I also like other books which i never thought I couldn't like any other books better than them. But to me this book has taken there place. This book has showed me what it would be like if we had no teacher to teach us, if we wanted to learn and couldn't, and how things can change by a pice of paper. I say thank you to the author for writing this but for kids to read.....

    The Best Book!

This is the best book I've read. It is really cool. A girl's parents are divorced and she is mad. She has moved to many different schools with a bad reputation. She has her own newspaper. She then gets a teacher named Mr. Larson in 5th grade. She writes something bad about him in her editorial. I don't want to tell you the rest. Have fun reading this book!
