A Leash On Claremont?
I love the story, and the plotline is phenomenal, and it is obvious that the movie will be fantastic. The novel, however, was as enjoyable as it was, on a certain level, dissapointing. After reading X2 by Claremont, I had come to expect a greater depth in the characters (particularly Jean as the Phoenix), and also a lot of extras and references to the comics. Apparently someone leashed in Claremont's inspired storytelling and forced him to not deviate at all from the original story. Compared to the novel of X2, you will be somewhat dissapointed, as I was, but it still remains an enjoyable read to add to your library - definitley worth the $6.50 that I had to pay for it.

Plague's Bio of Awesomeness
Hey, guys. Lets get this party started, shall we? :3
Mutant Abilities:
Well, when I get angry or feel any strong emotion, my body produces a dangerous bacteria which causes boils all over the bodies of targeted people, with side effects if itchyness, swelling, major headaches, and severe flaking if the skin. Sophistocated answer for ya. I can call up a small amount of the bacteria at will, but it's nothing compaired to what emotion produces.
Looks:
This is my worst favorite collum. e.e I have blue eyes, blonde hair cut three inches below my chin, and I'm pretty skinny. Not that skinny, though. I have typical 'nerd' glasses, but I wear contacts. Pale complection. For makeup I wear foundation and liquid eyeliner on my upper eyelid.
Status:
Single and ready to mingle! :D
Crush:
I ain't tellin'! :3
Other:
I enjoy volleyball, swimming, writing, acting, singing, and trolli<3>ng people. In real life I'm outgoing, and I have a high popularity. I am fourteen years of age. I think that's it. So long, sucker! *disapoofs in a flash of light.*Was this review helpful? Very good writing
As a rabid fan of the X Men over the years, this book / movie I must say is one of the best representations of the franchise. It is expertly written and especially goes into depth with the diverse relationships between the various heroes ( Jean Grey/Cyclops/Wolverine , Professor X/ Magneto , Hank Mc Coy/ the US goverment)Was this review helpful? My only peeve is that I wished that I had read the book prior to seeing the movie and PLEASE !! THE JUGGERNAUT is not a mutant as stated in the film
All in all however this book was well written and you cannot go wrong in reading it
