Unlikely Voices Emerging for the Emergent
This book comes out of the growing Emergent Church movement of recent years. It speaks to the postmodern audience that is critical of the 'Old School' and frustrated with stale religiosity. The author taps the unlikely voices of past leaders and common people who have a story to be told. These stories give us new insight on leadership to help escape the rigidity that has crept into many institutions today. The book is laid out well, including interactive exercises that allow readers to reflect on what they're learning, evalutate ideas, and to implement those ideas. The book will give you a fresh way of looking at leadership even if you are not totally comfortable with the Emergent movement. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
