I want to go back to Eden!

I absolutely LOVED this book! After I finished it, I immediately wanted to read more about Tallie and her adventures in Eden. This book has everything a little bit of romance, family, friendship, career, travel.. you name it! And if you are a fan of Natalie Wood, you will REALLY love it, because Natalie is a prominent 'character' in 'Eden' I love that the book takes place in modern times, but it reads as though it takes place in the 50's. It has that small-town feel, and the thing I loved most about this book was how Tallie would describe things and people most notably, that someone was as 'Dependable as a ceiling fan.' Not sure what that means, but it has certainly stuck in my mind! PS: Tallie has a unique way of describing a certain regular event in her life... a phrase that women will find very useful!

A funny, but moving and tender story

I loved this novel, plain and simple. I read it while on a fun vacation in Las Vegas, and it brought tears to my eyes, while sitting poolside at the beautiful Venetian hotel! I kept thinking about parts of it, for days afterwards. I hated for it to end. I lost my mother at an early age, and could relate to some of Tallie's thoughts and feelings. I especially enjoyed her descriptions of the ladies at the Klip-N-Kurl! I wish LeClaire would do a sequel! Anyone agree?

Anxious to read more by this author !

This home-spun story is touching on many levels. Seeing things through the eyes of a young girl who lost her mother to cancer , the novel is both touching and humorous . I would love to read more books by this author . : )

    An Amazing Story

This book was so fun and unpredictable. I loved the Natile Woods theme. This was a rare book because not a single part was boring. I'd definatly recommend this book. The characters were interesting and I loved the ending!
