    Discipleship 101

    Let God Change Your Life
    Greg Laurie
    Published by David Cook
    Source: Review B & B Media

Discipleship 101, written neatly and concisely into an easy to read and understand novel. Written from a Christian who has been in the world, and realized the vacuum sized hole in his heart for God, Greg Laurie uses the Word of God and breaks it down into step by step instructions for the new believer.

The book walks the reader through the need for a relationship with Christ as the sole way to God. Explains how easily you can accept Christ into your life, and how to get ready for the changes that will follow. Often new Christians are left in a lurch without a guideline of where to go from here. Greg Laurie's book would be an awesome discipleship tool for an older Christian to use to encourage a new believer. It would not only teach the new Christian, it would reignite the torch in the older Christian as well.

Fantastic examples, clear writing, and true to life skills are found in Let God Change your Life. I highly recommend that Christians have a copy of this book to give out to new believers or seekers!

I received a copy of this book from B & B media in exchange for an honest review

    Get Ready For A Change

Are you ready for a change? Let God Change Your Life by Greg Laurie was written to call us back to radical New Testament Christian living: to know God, embrace discipleship, and share our faith as the early church. We have been deceived into thinking that radical Christian living is extreme and only for a few. In reality, radical Christian living is the norm.

Most of us have missed the mark. "The first-century believers who followed Jesus Christ were men and women who turned their worlds upside down to follow the Messiah. And they lived the Christian life as Jesus presented it to them personally," states the author. If you are breathing, it is not too late to begin living this radical Christian way. The author shares four marks of an effective disciple.

1.A person who has been with Jesus will share his or her faith.
2.A person who has been with Jesus will know Scripture.
3.A person who has been with Jesus will be a person of prayer.
4.A person who has been with Jesus will be persecuted.
Are you in fear when sharing your faith? Do you think the Christian life is boring or dull? Then you need to examine your commitment to Christ. As the author presented, there are many critics but few laborers. If you are ready to recommit your life to the Master to fully follow in His steps, then you must read this book. I appreciated the personal illustrations he shared throughout this writing. If you are hesitant on sharing your testimony, Greg Laurie shows us ways at the conclusion of this book. All Christians have a part in New Testament radical living. Even you!

    Awesome

I became a Christian 20 odd years ago, but this book brought back that excitment of when I first allowed Christ into my life!
