Moderately entertaining although a bit repetitious...
Fairly entertaining series with well executed plot lines. Occasionally there’s a bit of melodrama but I guess I need to accustom myself to literary license. Sometimes the author pounds a concept into the ground while totally bypassing another aspect of the storyline that would have been fascinating to read. For example, we read repeatedly about nuances of Tori’s friendship with her friends at the Sweet Briar Lady’s Society Sewing Circle while her fiance Milo virtually disappears from view. Likewise, the actual capture of the murderer is totally overlooked in favor of a tangent of the theme. I’m not sure how the author decides which branches of the story she’s going to develop while others are ignored. Nevertheless, I look forward to reading more about the friendly ties that bind the ladies of Sweet Briar.
